1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the PDF Scanner mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
PDF Scanner allows you to scan documents and images, perform optical character recognition (OCR), and create and manage PDF files. Certain features may require an internet connection or a premium subscription.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are between 13 and 18, you may only use the App under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms.
4. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for all activity under your device/account.
- You agree not to misuse the App, including but not limited to distributing malware, infringing intellectual property, or violating applicable laws.
- You are responsible for maintaining backups of your documents.
5. Permissions and Device Access
The App may request access to your device's camera and storage to provide core functionality. By granting these permissions, you authorize the App to capture, store, and process documents on your device as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
- Some features are available through a paid subscription.
- Subscriptions are processed by third-party providers (e.g., app stores, RevenueCat) under their respective terms.
- Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew until canceled in your store account settings.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
7. Intellectual Property
- The App and its content (excluding your documents) are owned by Glipo and are protected by intellectual property laws.
- You retain ownership of your documents and content processed through the App.
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the App, except as permitted by law.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload or process content that is illegal or infringes third-party rights.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App or connected services.
- Bypass or attempt to circumvent security or access controls.
9. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate third-party services (e.g., Google ML Kit, Google Sign-In, RevenueCat, cloud storage providers). Your use of such services is governed by their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
10. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. Please review the Privacy Policy carefully.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glipo and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the App.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Glipo, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful.
15. Changes to the Terms
We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Istanbul, Türkiye.
